Biriyani has it’s origin known to be in India although others believe it to be Persia. It is famous around the globe and has over 80 different variations. It’s curry sauce is rich and heavy—mixed with spices commonly known as garam masala (a mix of grinded cumin, cinnamon, cardamon, and other spices.) Biriyani is usually served during weddings, parties, Eid celebrations and sometimes on Fridays or Sundays as a treat to one’s family members. Simply Tasty serves a mouth watering East African version.
